 The Plantsmen of Rochester Parks

The Plantsmen of Rochester Parks is a wonderful history of the men who created our local park system.  Copies of this book can be purchased at Warner Castle for $16.95 plus tax, for a total of $18.31, or online here for $18.31(including tax) plus $3.32 shipping for a total of $21.63. Proceeds benefit the Rochester Civic Garden Center’s endowment fund in memory of Alvan R. Grant.

CORPORATE FUNCTION / PRIVATE PARTY

The cost to hold a corporate function or private party at Warner Castle is $500 for up to 4 hours. The four hours will include time necessary to set up and clean up, which is the responsibility of the lessee. A refundable $500 security deposit is required to cover any damages and/or additional cleaning services. Chairs and tables are available and included in the rental fee.

 

WEDDING CEREMONY AND RECEPTION

A wedding ceremony and reception at Warner Castle is $800 for up to 9 hours. The nine hours will include time necessary to set up and clean up, which is the responsibility of the lessee. A refundable $500 security deposit is required to cover any damages and/or additional cleaning services. Chairs and tables are available and included in the rental fee.


WEDDING CEREMONY ONLY

The cost to hold a wedding ceremony at Warner Castle is $300 for up to 3 hours. The three hours will include time necessary to set up and clean up, which is the responsibility of the lessee. No food or drink would be served. A refundable security deposit of $300 is required. Chairs are available and included in the rental fee.

 
WEDDING RECEPTION ONLY

The cost of a wedding reception at Warner Castle is $600 for up to 7 hours. The seven hours will include the time necessary to set up and clean up, which is the responsibility of the lessee. A refundable $500 security deposit is required to cover any damages and/or additional cleaning services. Twelve rectangular (6'x30") tables, seating up to 72 people (approximate capacity if seated at tables), are available and included in the rental fee. Chairs to seat up to 87 people are available and included in the rental fee.

ALCOHOL

Wine, champagne and beer may be served by a licensed caterer only

 

MUSIC

No amplified music is allowed

You may make an appointment to visit the castle and its grounds Tuesday-Thursday during office hours (9am-4:30pm) or Monday and Friday mornings (9-11:30 am)  Please contact Christine Froehlich at rcgccf@frontiernet.net for an appointment, reservations and more information.

THE SUNKEN GARDEN

PLEASE NOTE - If you plan to rent the Castle on a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday in the summer (between April and October), you must also rent the Sunken Garden from the Monroe County Parks Department for the same time period. Sunken Garden reservations are handled by the Monroe County Parks Department.

Reservations may be made for photographs only. Ceremonies are allowed in other areas of Highland Park. Visit the Parks Department’s web site and click on the link for the Online Wedding Reservation Application (this allows you to make reservations for photographs in the Sunken Garden). Or you may call the Monroe County Parks Department Reservations office at 585-753-7275
